• REPLACEMENT NUMBERS: Aftermarket recoil starter assembly replaces Kohler 14 165 20-S, 14 165 20S and 14 165 20; also searched as 1416520-S, 1416520S and 1416520. Confirm the number on the original starter or in the engine parts diagram before ordering. Not a genuine Kohler or Toro part.
• ENGINE COMPATIBILITY: Fits select Kohler XT650 and XT675 149cc engines and XT775 and XT800 173cc engines. Also fits select HD775, XTX675 and XTX775 specifications only when the engine parts diagram calls for 14 165 20-S. Common equipment labels include 6.5, 6.75, 7.75 and 8.0 HP, but engine series, horsepower or displacement alone does not confirm fit.
• MOWER APPLICATIONS: Fits select Toro Recycler 22-inch lawn mowers equipped with a compatible Kohler XT-Series engine and the specified starter number. Not every Toro Recycler or 149cc/173cc mower uses this assembly. Does not replace 14 165 01-S or 14 165 07-S unless the equipment parts diagram specifically supersedes to 14 165 20-S.
