- Critical Tips: Direct Drive Only, Dry Thoroughly & Store Sealed This 85A TPU is extremely soft and must be used with a direct drive extruder; It absorbs moisture quickly, so thorough drying is mandatory before printing: use a forced-air dryer at 80C for 812 hours, or 100C for 35 hours. Keep low print speeds, set retraction length to 0.41.4mm at 2050mm/s, and use a 0.6mm (recommended) or 0.8mm nozzle. Always return unused spools to a sealed bag or dry box immediately.
- Recommended Print Settings Pre-print drying: forced-air dryer at 80C for 812h or 100C for 35h. Nozzle size: 0.6mm (strongly recommended) or 0.8mm. Nozzle temperature: 200250C. Build plate: standard smooth PEI or textured PEI sheet. Bed temperature: 3550C. Cooling fan: 3070%. Print speed: 100mm/s (start at 2050mm/s). Retraction length: 0.41.4mm, retraction speed: 2050mm/s. Following these settings and test for verification will deliver stable, high-quality, super-soft flexible prints every time.
