• Get ready for ignition 1. Open the propane tanks gas flow slowly. If there is a sudden rush through the regulator, this may trigger a safety valve and prevent the gas from flowing properly. 2. When lighting your Gas Burner, push in and very slowly turn anti-clockwise. This should take 3 seconds to give the gas enough chance to flow in to the burner. 3. When you hear the *click* of ignition, continue to press the control knob for 3 more seconds.
• Ignition Troubleshooting If There Is No Spark If the burner does not ignite, turn off the propane supply first and check these 3 steps: Check the battery Make sure the battery is installed with the correct +/ polarity and has sufficient power. Test the igniter Disconnect the ignition wire from the igniter and press the ignition button. If there is no spark at the igniter terminal, the igniter may need replacement.
• Check the ignition wire If a spark is present at the terminal, reconnect the wire and inspect it for loose connections, cracks or damaged insulation that may cause the spark to discharge before reaching the burner electrode. Secure the connection and properly insulate or replace any damaged section before use.
