- HEAVY DUTY PERFORMANCE: The 1600TG Double Sided Mounting Tape is made with 1.12mm gray foam and a medium soft acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive system, this two sided tape delivers strong initial tack, excellent shear strength, and reliable long term holding power. Its shock-absorbing, weatherproof, and peel resistant properties make it ideal for heavy loading and harsh peeling. Certainly offers a clean, stable bond to various surfaces without the need for screws, drilling, or messy glue.
- APPLICATIONS: 1600TG dual sided foam tape is ideal for mounting, joining, gasketing, and sealing on irregular surfaces. Its perfect for mounting photos, posters, frames, decorations, signs, LED strips, and banners. Secure rugs, organizers, sensors, certificates, and lightweight hooks. Use it as a pet deterrent, for party backdrops, holding display cases, or enhancing viscosity to hook loop strips. Ideal for homes, rentals, offices, and DIY projects.
- BROAD SURFACE COMPATIBILITY: The 1600TG foam tape bonds well to clean, dry surfaces like painted walls, wood, metal, plastic, glass, drywall, tile, marble, and formica. For best results, press firmly and let it set for a while. To remove from painted drywall without damage, heat with a hair dryer and peel slowly. Avoid fast removal to prevent paint damage. Provides strong, rattle free hold between hard surfaces. Note: May cause paint removal on certain surfaces during tape removaltest before use.
- USER GUIDELINES: For optimal bond strength, thoroughly clean and dry surfaces with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Apply tape when temperatures are between 70F to 100F (21C - 38C), pressing firmly on the surface of tape area for about 50 seconds. Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50F (10C) is not recommended because the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. However, once properly applied, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory.
