The 1/2" NPT water connections simplify integration with compatible plumbing. Installation should be completed by a qualified electrician and plumber in accordance with local codes. Confirm the home's electrical service, breaker capacity, grounding and water-line arrangement before purchase; this is not a plug-in appliance.
