• Easy to Install 1" Universal Float Valve has 1" internal threads for connecting. You will need a water hose with an external thread or mounting bracket. Use plumber's tape on the threads of hose or mounting bracket and screw on the Float Valve. Tighten by hand only. Do not use plumbing compound. Turn the water source to full volume. The valve will close 1 1/2"-2" up from the bottom of the valve depending on the pressure.
