- Please open your tank water heater door to check the right size 1/2" or 3/4" NPT thread needed before ordering As most returns so far have been "Ordered the wrong size". For example, Suburban some models such as 5243A, SW10DE need the 3/4" NPT thread size, while some need the 1/2" NPT thread size. Thanks
