• COMMERCIAL GRADE - The Soft Close and Open 1500 Series is an easily assembled, premium quality commercial/residential kit for installing a pocket door into a 2x4 stud wall. The Soft Close units will work when the door is opening and closing. Pocket doors do not need "swing" room, saving valuable floor space while still assuring the full privacy of a standard door. The 1500SC Series Pocket Door Frame is perfect for the builder or Do-It-Yourselfer.
• UPGRADE TO STEEL - We are proud to slowly phase out the steel wrapped wood studs to new all-steel studs for this heavy duty pocket door frame. The new all-steel studs are more stiff and allow for 1- thick doors; they also require no adaptor kit. Comes with self-tapping drywall screws and self-tapping trims screws. This transition will be complete by January 2020.
• SOFT-CLOSE AND OPEN OPERATION - Soft-close and open option smoothly brakes and pulls the pocket door into the opened or closed position. Self-adjusting floor anchors allow for settling of floor without disturbing horizontal alignment of header and track. Balanced three wheel tricycle hangers ensure that all wheels carry weight evenly for a lifetime of smooth operation. Convex rails on box track ensure free rolling.
• EASY TO INSTALL - Comes with all necessary hardware, no drilling required. In addition to the frame, track and hangers, kit also includes door guide, adjustment wrench and door bumper. Frames can be cut down to fit any smaller door size.
