• Intertape PG21 High Temperature Masking Tape is an extremely versatile masking tape which is resistant to strong solvents and paints and is easily removed in warm or cold environments.
• It is designed for clean removal from a variety of surfaces after exposure to oven temperatures up to 325F (163C) for 30 minutes (time and temperature determined by surface).
• IPG PG21 performs well in wet strip applications and its easy handling, smooth paper crepe backing exhibits high strength, excellent conformability to irregular surfaces and exceptional cornering.
• The tape provides resistance to paint flaking as well as a clean, well-defined paint line. Applications uses include automotive, truck, bus, and marine paint masking. Recommended hot to warm removal, but can be removed cold.
• Carrier/Backing: crepe paper. Adhesive: rubber/resin. Thickness: 7.3 mils (carrier, adhesive). Adhesion: 28 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength: 26 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Service/Operating Temperature: up to 325F. Elongation: 10%. Standards Met: ASTM D6123/D6123M (1), CID AA-883B (1), BAC5317. Core: 3-inch diameter.
