• ** PLEASE NOTE that you can only order up to 3-HIYW94 kits in one transaction due to packaging constraints .** Professional results with DIY skills - The system is designed for one person cabinet installation in 3 basic steps: 1)Attach the rail to the wall. 2) Mount the brackets on the cabinets. 3) Hang the cabinets on the rail.
• 1) Attach the rail- the wall rails are pre-punched with holes 3/4" on center to enable at least one fastener to be attached to every wall stud. The rail is easily leveled, shimmed, aligned and secured.
• 2) Mount the brackets- the auto aligning brackets allow each cabinet to be supported independently on the rail without any localized stress on it or an adjacent cabinet.
• 3) Hang the cabinets- with the cabinets fully suspended on the rail via the brackets, they can be moved, aligned and the faces attached to one another.
• The top of the rail sits 1 and 3/16" above the top of the cabinet and is typically hidden by crown moulding or other readily available trim. The hanging system typically holds a cabinet about 5/16" off the wall which is normally covered by scribe trim.
• For installation on other than wood framing such as metal stud, brick, block or concrete walls, we recommend using 3/16" Toggler brand Snap-Toggles through the metal studs and 3/16" Hex head Tapcon fasteners for brick, block and concrete. Presently, the hardware kits only contain fasteners for wood framing installation.
