• Apple Home and Home Key SupportThe U50 is a smart door lock that is fully integrated into Apple Home. It can be unlocked with the Apple Home Key by simply tapping an iPhone or Apple Watch, even when the iPhone or Apple Watch is out of power. Moreover, you can manage and share door access for your guests in Apple Home. With a Matter compatible Aqara hub, it features Matter support.(Tips: After adding the door lock to the Aqara Home app, only the administrator's fingerprint or password can reset the door lock.)
• Remote Passwords and UnlockThe Smart Lock U50 offers multiple ways to unlock, including keypad unlocking, remotely configurable passwords via the Aqara Home app (An Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub is required), one-time local passwords when no internet connection is available, and a temporary password for visitors. * The NFC card is not included and is sold separately.
• Automations with Aqara and Third-Party DevicesWith an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub, the smart door lock U50 is compatible with third-party ecosystems like Google Home, Alexa and IFTTT, allowing it to be easily integrated into a wide range of smart home setups and used in smart home automations. For example, when someone presses the Aqara Video Doorbell G4, you will be able to view who is at your door and easily unlock the U50 door lock. (Zigbee2MQTT and comparable third-party USB dongles are not officially supported by Aqara. Full product functionality may be limited or unavailable.)
• Auto Lock & Do Not Disturb ModeThanks to the built-in gyroscope, the auto-lock feature locks the door for you after you close it. Alternatively, you can disable this feature and leave the door in the passage mode. Also, the Do Not Disturb mode can mute the door lock sounds within a certain period of time, to avoid affecting your familys sleep when you get back home late.
• A Durable and Secure Deadbolt Lock with Long Battery Life The U50 is powered by 4 AA Batteries (6V batteries required, included) and has a long battery life of up to 6 months. Also, a USB-C to A port for emergency charging is available. The lock body made of zinc alloy has an IPX5 rating and complies with the same safety standard as BHMA Level 3. Its capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -31F to 150.8F. Your sensitive data is stored locally and fully AES encrypted.
• Rekeying Made Easy with U50The Smart Lock U50 cylinder is designed for rekeying. Simply remove the lock cylinder, have a locksmith adjust the pins to match your existing 5-pin key, and you'll be able to continue using your original key to unlock it.
