Each module undergoes thorough individual testing on a 10G RJ45 Ethernet switch before shipment. In terms of cable distance, the 10GBase-T SFP module supports connections up to 30 meters with Cat 6a/7 cable and 100/1000Base-T with Cat 5e cable or better. The 10G SFP+ ports are also supported.
- The transceivers are designed for ease of use with a plug-and-play feature, allowing for hot-swapping into a 10Gb SFP+ port without the need for power down during installation or replacement. They have a low power consumption of less than 2.5W and are RoHS compliant (lead-free).
